This weekend I had to get a new cord for my iPhone 5 – this is the second cord that I’ve gone through in the past 8 months and both times they have gotten a short in them and just won’t charge anymore.  The good news was, it is replaced for free by Apple, but the bad news was, the Apple store is 35 minutes away, and it’s the only cord I had, so I either have to immediately  get a new one, or just not use my phone for a few days….yeah, that’s not gonna happen!  I decided to bring my girlies with me but, I was especially dreading (read: throwing a fit) going to my appointment because it was a SATURDAY, and well, have you ever seen the Apple store on a weekend?  No thanks.  But, I have to say, it was SO unbelievably quick since I had an appointment!  We were there for a total of 10 minutes, and that was because we showed up a little early.  Even with all of the chaos in the store, they got my new cord right away – it was such a sigh of relief.

The best part of our Saturday excursion was stopping at Aviano Coffee for lattes (for them) and an Americano (for me).  It was just what I needed to chill out and turn a not-so-fun trip into an amazing one.  I LOVED hanging out at Aviano, and especially with my girls.  They loved their lattes and tiny spoons and savored every last drop, smiling in between each sip.  To be honest, I really wanted to have a small taste of their frothy drinks, but I didn’t since I am almost finished with my second Whole 30 – it wouldn’t have been worth it!  I haven’t tasted a latte in over 8 months – I wonder if they would taste as good as I remember?  Yeah, probably not.  If you are in Denver, and haven’t been to Aviano – go as soon as you can!  It’s amazing and beautiful and a perfect place to relax and enjoy a yummy drink:)
