Tristan and I have decided to embark on ANOTHER Whole 30 challenge in January 2014! We are really excited to do it again and see how it may or may not feel differently this time around. We aren’t doing another Whole 30 to lose more weight – I’ve lost 51 lbs, and Tristan has lost 30 lbs, so we are actually both really happy with where we are weight-wise (I know! Who would’ve thought that day would come?!). We just want to challenge ourselves again to take things to the next level and continue on this healthier path. If you’re wondering – a Whole 30 is a strict version of Paleo and lasts for 30 days, so it is a little different from “regular” Paleo – you can read all about it here. We both did it back in June and loved it so much that we continued with Paleo ever since. It has been so so life-changing for us and you can read about some of our other experiences here, here, and here.
One of the things that we both recommend if you are thinking of doing a Whole 30, is to have a partner do it with you for support, encouragement, and accountability. SO, we are extending the invitation to you (yes YOU!) to join us on our Whole 30 next month!
Here are the nitty gritty details if you are interested in joining us (and I hope that you are!):
We will start the Whole 30 on Wednesday, January 8th 2014 and end on Thursday, February 6th 2014 – 3 weeks from today! (NO breaks, cheat days, “off” days, ect…during this period of time – no exceptions!)

I am currently on day 23 of my second attempt at a whole 30. I did one in July but at day 20 went on vacation and fell off the wagon. I was inspired to try again because of your last whole30 post. (Thank you)
I feel so good that I definitely have plans to do it again in the new year. Maybe I will jump back in with you guys.

You guys are awesome and we are definately hopping back on the paleo train after the holidays. We were doing great until November when we traveled a lot. I don’t want to do the super strict challenge though right now. I am afraid I’ll just count down the thirty days and go back to naughtiness. I have a new cookbook and I’m planning out my January meals now. I am ordering a big order of almond flour and I’m excited to clean it up in January. Can’t wait to see how your second challenge goes!

I totally understand about timing – it’s good that you are being true to yourself and waiting till you are really ready. Hooray for trying out more Paleo recipes in January! Let me know if you find any that taste like Snickers bars;)

I’m in! I just got the book today & can’t wait to read it through to get ready – I’ve been trying to incorporate more Paleo and be in tune with my body. I am 120 days on whole 30. I love eating this clean and don’t plan on going back. I have lost 17 lbs but am wondering why I am not dropping more. Any ideas or suggestions. Thank you
